Nice shopping trip yesterday

I had to go to Walmart, yuck, as much as I hate going to that store, I have not been there in at least 3 weeks and wanted to try some coupons out. I took my 2 $2 South Beach pizza coupons, and my 2 $2 South B. drink mix cpns, 2 of the pizzas had a tag of $2 and two had a tag of $2.72, so I grab the $2 ones, had to go to cust. service to get the $1.44 back as they did ring up $2.72, but since the shelf tag said $2, etc. etc. But got the two boxes of drink mixes for FREE, w/out the hassle. I was told to check Rite Aid for John Frieda coupons, the coupon is for $3 off of ANY 2 products or $1 off of 1, you decide when you redeem the cpn, which you want to use, so I found them, took some, and headed to Walmart. I was told the trial size mousse was only .97, so 2 of those would be $1.94, and use the $3 on 2 cpn to get $1.06 overage on your other groceries. They had 8 left, so I took 8 of them, 4 coupons, my other stuff, and headed to the register where the cashier had no problem taking the coupon and taking the whole $3 off, so I ended up with over $4 of overage on my other stuff. Excellent! Then we tried Subway on our way out to see if they would accept our email that said we won a free bag of chips, and they accepted the cpn, so two free bags of chips on our way out (lots of people said their subway refused to take them even though it was a legitimate win, so I wasn't getting my hopes up for chips - I also won two FREE movie tickets by playing the online game) :)

Then to CVS where to my surprise our ad was nothing at all like the ad I looked at online last week. I knew this was possible and last time it happened the ads were not "that" different, but this time, it was horrible. So I was going to roll over an expired $6.99 ecb into the revlon deal but that deal was not in our area, I really hope it will be next week then, sometimes I have seen that happen. So I decided to go ahead and use the ecb anyway because I needed garbage bags and while they are on sale at Walgreens, which I will get later this week (the deal is 2 boxes of garbage bags for $4.99 and you get a $4.99 easy saver rebate back at the end of the month) not bad, free garbage bags. So I got 2 boxes of garbage bags, a hershey bar, a cvs facewipes, two pepsi 20 oz., and ziploc bags. My total came to $7.57 and I used my $6.99 extra care buck and paid the .58 cent difference in cash, got the $1 ecb back for the facewipes and was supposed to get one for buying 2 20 oz. pepsi's, but will call the cvs ppl and ask about it.

I cannot wait to get to Walgreens later this week, now there is a cpn to use on Thur. $5 off of $20 which will work perfectly! The Olay body wash ends up being 6 for $1.00!!!! very exciting! And when you buy 4 axe products you get 2 free movie tickets, the trial size products work, so for $6.20 I will get 4 axe products and 2 free movie tickets! It is a date! And then the Ritz crackers are very cheap, oh and while I'm thinking of it: This months issue, August of the All You magazine only sold at Walmart - ick - is HUGE for great coupons, take a look through first, or just buy one already and look through it then see how much money your going to save and go buy a few more. It is definitely a month to buy 5 or 6 copies, for me anyway.

Happy cheap shopping to ya!

My Walgreens diaper deal

Yesterday I spent the gas money and drove the 45 minutes to Walgreen's to get in on the great diaper deal that was going on. I was not able to use all of the coupons that should have worked, if so, this would have saved me $15.00, but none the less, I did good :)

First order:
4 pkgs Walgreens diapers, size 6 ($5.99 ea.)
1 Scrubbing Bubbles action kit ($5.49)

Total: $29.45
minus: $18.00 in cpns for the diapers
minus: $2.75 cpn for the Scrubbing bubbles
Total paid: $9.03 and out printed a $5 cpn off of my next order
I will send in the Walgreens rebate to get $1.50 back on the Scrubbing bubbles, and I'll also send in my receipt for a scrubbing bubbles "Try me free" rebate, which will give me the whole $5.49 back! Double rebates on one product and I had a cpn to take $2.75 off of it in the first place, so that is a profit of $4.25 on that one product, nice!

Second order:
3 pkgs Walgreens training pants ($5.99 ea)
1 pilot pens 2 pk ($1)
4 small composition notebooks ($.20)
1 crayola markers 12 pk ($2)

Total: $21.17
minus: $13.50 in walgreens diaper cpns
Total paid: $7.67 - used a Walgreens gift card to pay for this and .19cents in cash
Out printed a $5 register reward coupon off of my next order!
Also Will get $1 back from Walgreens for the pens and $2 back from walgreens for the markers

Third order:
2 Walgreens diapers - the mega pkg, not Jumbo, (sale priced at $7.69 ea)
2 pretzel/cheese cracker ($2)
5 posterboard (.50)

Total: $17.88
minus: $9.00 in diaper cpns
Total paid: $8.88

GRAND TOTALS:
$9.03 plus
$0.19 plus
$8.88
Total oop(out of pocket) $18.10
I have $10 in RR to spend at the store
I will get back $8.99 from rebates
Which is approximately a PROFIT of $1 for all of the following:

9 pkgs diapers/training pants
5 posterboard
2 crackers/cheese
4 notebooks
1 2pk pens
1 markers 12 pk
1 scrubbing bubbles action scrubber

I did probably use about $15 in gas, though, which I have to add in there.

cvs candy deal

The CVS candy deal this week is buy $10 in any candy on the two pages in the ad, you get a $5 ECB back. If you can get a hold of the lifesavers B1G1 free coupons then you will get FREE candy and $5 in ECBucks.

Buy 10 bags, 5 of them will be free at the register, use 5 B1G1 free coupons to get the other 5 FREE, you total will be zero, or tax only, and you will get a $5 extra care buck coupon printed at the end of your receipt to use on your next CVS order. I think the limit is 5 per card/household so if you have enough coupons, you can do this deal 5 times to end up with $25 in extra care bucks to use at the store and 50 free bags of lifesavers. I like free stuff, but FREE money is nice too!

Refundcents free preview day

Friday and Saturday of this week July 25-26, RefundCents.com will have a rare 'open day' when all can access the entire site.

The website is located at: http://www.refundcents.com/

For these two days, when you go to the site, you can click on the top left: Login Members and use:
username: sneakpeek
password: sneakpeek

Once you are logged in, I highly recommend you check out the link for "centsible chat", that is where the 'meat' of the website is, where everyone posts the good deals. But, there is oh so much more! Then you can see where/how I get a lot of stuff FREE! The website access is $1 a month if you buy a 12 month subscription, otherwise, it runs about $1.40 a month or so and you can also subscribe to get the monthly magazine too, which is great! But, obviously, I have made that much back in about 2 minutes of reading the website. Did you know that up to July 13th for every 5 planters peanuts you bought in one transaction you got a coupon to print out for $6.50 off of your next order???? Or when you bought 5 or more boxes of Fruit rollups that you would get a $3.50 coupon to print out off of your next order???? NEITHER DID I until someone on the refundcents website told me about it and do you know I was able to go to Giant Eagle a few weeks ago and spend $60, and walked out of there with $50 worth of these coupons OFF OF MY NEXT ORDER! This right here is why you need this website. Think of how many boxes of fruit snacks you could have had right now for school coming up. I know I don't want to miss the next big deal like this, you shouldn't either.

So check the site out tomorrow and Saturday, and then sign up! You can put me in as the person that referred you if you like, I get a free month added to my subscription, put in Beth Conley in WV. Then go get some FREE stuff already!! :)

My latest great finds

My latest great finds!!
This picture is mostly from last week! All of the Vive pro gloss shampoo and conditioner were FREE, as well as all of the bottles of Neutra Air freshner, I just paid tax!! For 4 bottles of shampoo/conditioner and 4 bottles of neutra air, my total was $1.12 for all 8 items! These were all bought at Rite Aid last week when they had their B1G1 free sale and I had B1G1 free coupons for the Vive and Neutra air.!!
The Powerade was on sale at Giant Eagle last week, when you buy 10, you get 5 free. So I had 10 coupons for $1 off one bottle, they were on sale $1 each. So I took 15 to the register, got 10 free with the coupons, and the other 5 FREE because I bought ten, total 15 free
The peanuts were bought, there were a total of 18 cans, with the $3 off of planters nuts coupon from earlier post, they were all free, and I bought the .10cent koolaid, 3 per can of planters, so for .30cents I got a can of nuts and 3 koolaid packets. Now I need some recipes to use up the 98 packets of koolaid that I have as I also found the FREE wheat thins coupons when you buy 3 kraft products attached to the wheat thins at Giant Eagle and ended up getting 15 boxes of those, for .30cents each box and 3 koolaids to go with it. Excellent deals lately!!

Then the rest is from CVS. The xtra gum was free, I got it on Saturday, cvs starts their sales on Saturday evening at most stores, so I was there to do the Sally Hansen nailpolish and decided to get some gum as well. The sally hansen nailpolish was on sale for .99cents each. I had a printed $3 on 2 nailpolish coupon, so I bought 3 nailpolishes, the register took off the whole $2.97, making 3 free nailpolishes. The Air wicks were on sale for $4.99, and there are coupons you can print for $4 off of 1, making them .99cents each. The cvs face wipes are a monthly deal, they are $2.99 for the month, there are $2 printable coupons to use on each pack, meaning you pay .99ents each, then you get a .99 extra care buck to print out for each one, making them all free, limit of 5 per card for the month! The pads are .99cents, and you get .99cent extra care buck for the month, limit of 2 per card, so those were FREE as well. All the chocolate you see I had to throw in as I was checking out because my total was -$3.xx and I didn't want that to happen so I grabbed the closest things I could find to get my total ABOVE ZERO! It worked out this way on both of my purchases because I had a coupon for $3 off of a $15 order and both of my orders I made sure were over $15 before all the coupons and sales. YOu must begin using CVS as soon as possible, you are missing out on alot of free stuff! (hubby and doggy in the pic, too :)

Happy hunting!

CVS - get started this week

This week is a great week to get started at cvs, for tax only.

What I mean is this past Sunday's paper had coupons in them for Buy 1 Get 1 free xtra gum, this gum just happens to be buy 1 get 1 free this week at cvs. AND for every two you buy, you get a $1 extra care bucks, up to $5 extra care bucks per card/household.

So, go in with 5 of your B1G1 free coupons. Pick up at least 10 packs of the xtra gum, check out, giving them your 5 coupons. You will pay only tax and out will print $5 ECB on your next order!!! Easy as pie!

Also, if you have the Vive pro shampoo/conditioner coupons from a few weeks ago, those are B1G1 free at CVS and Kmart this week, so that would be FREE shampoo and conditioner as well.

Good luck, have fun!! Get to CVS!

Possible free stuff at Walmart

The link below has two coupons you can print out, one for $2 off South Beach pizza and one for the South Beach Tide me over drink mix, these are supposedly $2 now at Walmart, so may be free or very cheap. You can print the coupons twice per computer, so print each coupon, close the window, click the link below again and print again!
