I once saw this being done in Canada, so I searched and found that it is working in the United States as well. I just signed up so I do not know for a fact yet that this is working or not, but it is worth it for you to sign up to get on their mailing list. The stamped, ready to use envelopes that they send you, 5 per week, will have advertisements on them. Free postage is Free postage to me. It says they are in the process of getting more advertisers, I'm not sure if that is recent or not, but I signed up and will post if/when I get my first envelopes in the mail.
