So last night I went into Kroger to find out that they were doubling coupons up to $1.00 with anything valued at $1.00 or higher will equal $2.00 off the product. So I had no time to get organized, but this morning I dug in and spent 3 hours coupon sorting. Mainly just dealing with coupons that interested me that were .55 cents and over. I spent exactly 3 hours in Kroger today, and ended up with 2 orders.
First order were all products that would be FREE after coupons, I just paid tax:
I had 46 coupons and my total was: $3.30, it was $95 before coupons.
I have 20 boxes of Bayer aspirin 32 ct., 2 aleve, 5 large cans - 6 small cans tomato sauce/tomatoes, 9 - 4 packs of yogurt, thank goodness I like it as a frozen treat - I could never eat it all by Feb. 8!, 2 baby soaps, 1 baby powder, nail clippers, Purell hand sanitizer, 4 taco seasonings, 3 pkgs tortilla shells, 2 pkgs keebler cookies, 3 dole fruit parfaits.
Second order were things that were nice n cheap after coupons. I had 45 coupons, the total was: $42.00, it was $132.00 before coupons.
I got the baby 15 jars/packs of baby food, 2nds and 3rds, those came out to be .05 cents and .21 cents each, huge savings.
There's 5 boxes of Rolaids (3 rolls per box), 2 snausages for the puppy, 3 pizzas, 3 frozen breadsticks, 4 totinos pizza rolls, butter, refried beans, 4 bags of frozen veggies, the mix with pasta and cheese, splurged on those at $1.09 ea. after cpn, Deb's salad dressing, and the buitoni's pasta, it ended up being .09 cents each after cpns, I got 3, too much more to list!
Great trip, very tiring, but well worth it seeing the total savings. I just wish I had known earlier, but am very thankful for what we did get. It's Crazy!
This could not come at a better time as Kroger is giving 2 bonus fuel fillups next month, so 6 fillups with the discount I earned from this month. It counts the product total Before coupons, so I am already qualified for a .20 cent per gallon discount, that helps alot!
